If You Hope to Get a High Yield From Your Organic Garden this Year, there is Something You Should Know…
When people think of organic gardening, they usually think of gardening free from the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. While that may be true, it’s only a part of the equation.
Organic gardening is similar to natural medicine. Natural medicine is a lifestyle choice, not an ‘as needed’ treatment. Rather than attacking the sickness with weapons such as antibiotics and other drugs with potentially harsh side effects, the body is treated in a manner that promotes health and builds immunity for the long haul. A well-maintained body with a strong immune system doesn’t deal with many of the health issues that plague those who do not work toward this goal but instead pop whatever pill the doctor prescribes for their current ailment.
It is the same principle with organic gardening. We already know what devastating consequences chemical fertilizers have caused to our land and our bodies. Much has already been said about that. But we cannot just stop applying synthetic fertilizers and chemical pesticides and expect to get an organic bumper crop. We must build up and maintain our garden’s ‘immune system.’
How do we do that? The first step is to feed it. Feed your soil by tilling in or applying well-composted organic material such as kitchen scraps, untreated lawn clippings, leaves, alfalfa meal, and weed free straw. Add aged manure (preferably a full year) from naturally-raised sheep, goats, chickens, rabbits, llamas/alpacas, or grass-fed beef.
Most everything you need for your garden is contained in these sources. Test your soil to see if it’s lacking any important minerals that may need to be added. If your soil is well-balanced in ‘nutritional’ needs, you will have a greater chance of avoiding soil-borne diseases and insect infestations.
The second step is equally as important and the most overlooked part of successful organic gardening. Your plants need to have adequate access to these nutrients. It is similar to us taking vitamins. Our bodies do not always absorb the vitamins and minerals we give them. Often the nutrients go down the toilet, literally. It is often the case with garden plants (minus the toilet).
A plant has three sources of nutrients it receives when growing in a garden: the soil, the sun, and the air. There has to be a proper hormonal balance for the plant to be able to absorb what it needs.
If something is off, either in your soil, the lighting, or the weather, or your soil has not had time to rid itself of previous synthetic materials, your plants may be hindered from absorbing the nutrients they need to grow a healthy, productive crop. A higher vitamin and mineral content in your plants will produce a healthier crop, a stronger immunity to pests and diseases in your plants, and you will receive more nutrients in food form from your produce!
A plant’s hereditary factors, just like you, determine how tall it grows, how many nutrients it can absorb, or how much fruit it produces. If we continue to deteriorate our soil rather than build it up, our plants are headed for genetic decline. In the late nineties it was discovered that a unique combination of marine and land plant extracts could naturally excite a plant’s hormones, causing the cells to strengthen and lengthen. This increase in cellular health caused the plants to absorb more energy from the sun and CO² from the air – which ultimately is converted to plant sugar. Plant sugar is the basis for everything from the strength of the stalk, to the health of the leaves, to the quantity of blooms on a plant or tree, to the sweetness of the fruit or vegetables the plant produces.
With more natural sugars, plants will produce more blooms, bigger fruit or veggies, and more prolific flowers. It also dramatically increases the flavor, sweetness, and nutrition in fruit and vegetable plants.
If you are a seed saver, this is of critical importance. Plants, if left to propagate on their own, will not improve, in fact, just the opposite. A seed saver knows he or she must select the best plants (meaning health, production, and disease resistance) to save seeds from if a variety is to be sustained. Strengthening the cellular structure of your varieties and the health of the soil it is grown in will improve the quality of your seeds and improve your seed stock!
Check out the contrast…
The these plants were grown under the same conditions except the plants on the left were sprayed with a unique combination of marine and land plant extracts. This formula was also responsible in 2008 for overcoming a devastating disease, the formerly incurable and destructive Tungro Virus in rice plants.
Here is an example of corn treated with the same natural formula. This corn stalk produced 6 ears of corn! Although this was unusual, the crop still produced 70.1% more than it had the previous year not treated with this formula.
This is a dying evergreen bush in my brother-in-law’s backyard. He treated it with this unique formula…
Here’s the same bush just 4 applications later!
This is me holding one of the many unusually large carrots out of our garden last year. It was treated with the same formula as all the above examples. These carrots were not only huge but crisp and full of flavor!
So, what is this ‘natural medicine’ for organic gardener’s?
For the very first time since the late nineties this exclusive formula has become available to home gardener’s in the U.S.
Other than the natural compost we apply (both plant and animal manure) and occasional needed minerals, this is the one treatment we use in our own garden. We stand behind our product 100%.
